BIO:
Dr Mia is a psychologist, researcher, coach and founder of the fatherli app. She is on a mission to help others overcome difficult situations and get the most out of life.
Dr Mia has a Ph.D in child and adolescent mental health and has trained in coaching, reflective parenting and dialogue methods. She studied at the Evidence Based Practice Unit, a partnership between the Anna Freud Centre and UCL Brain Sciences in London. Over the past 10 years, Dr Mia’s research has focused on supporting child and family mental health and reducing the risk of mental health disorder in children and teenagers.
Dr Mia is passionate about fathers’ mental health and wellbeing and the role that fathers can play in supporting the wellbeing of their children and families. Since the pandemic, Dr Mia has been focused on digital approaches to mental health and wellbeing and has led research in the area of mental health apps.
Dr Mia is a coach and passionate about supporting adults and children to be mentally fit and cultivate happiness.
Dr Mia lives with her son and cat in Oxford.
